Head Chef

You need have

– previous experience with managing a small kitchen team

– team building skills

– knowledge of traditional as well as modern Czech and Slovak (Central European) cuisines

– high level of cooking skills

– attention to detail

– creativity and proactive approach

– can do attitude

– high standard of cleanliness and hygiene

– knowledge of food safety practices and regulations

– costing and desired GP control

– confidence in data analysing and recording

– knowledge and control of food allergens

– Level 2 Food Safety certificate

– right to work in the UK

– NI number and UK bank account

Reporting to the general manager, the applicant will be responsible for day-to-day running of the kitchen including stock control, rota planning and cleaning schedules.

The 3 months probationary period can be shortened (by 1 month) in the case of a confident and full takeover of the kitchen and all responsibilities.

£36,000 per annum (£30,000 pa during probationary period)
